KING’S GARDEN

King’s Garden is a kitchen garden model able to host different activities and reflections regarding the production, the experimentation of domestic agriculture. King’s Garden explores and experiments how agriculture and design culture can influence everyday life, and how this can be the engine for an enzymatic innovation. King’s Garden is a laboratory replicable in different places. Thanks to its flexibility it can be displayed in different contexts, enabling an immediate and unexpected dialogue with the public. King’s garden is a farm machine made of three moments: in the bottom space, there is the field work, where different vegetables and herbs are cultivated in pots. The drying up is conceived in the middle space, where through a natural ventilation, it impossible to dry up, both horizontally and vertically, flowers and fruits according to the different seasons. The rain water is collected in a small tank, which guaranties the irrigation of the cultivated plants.
